Yeah, yeah, yeah. All that is true, but how?
There’s often a gulf between knowing what to do and knowing how to do it.
One of my earliest clients owned a uniform manufacturing business. He spent lots of his time moving cloth from here to there.
Why? Because it was clear to him what needed to be moved and he knew how to do it.
What wasn’t clear to him was what to do to get the change he wanted. That path wasn’t clear, so he always fell back to what was – moving the cloth.
It helped me realize that: The change you want must be clearer than the path you’re on.
Or you’ll continue on the path you’re on.
Why?
Because we do what we know.
If you want to attract a steady, consistent flow of your ideal clients, you need to see a clear path.
If you want to have the language to talk about what you do in a way that gives you confidence and draws people towards you, you need to see a clear path.
If you want a repeatable marketing and selling system, so that you wake up in the morning and you know exactly what you need to do, you need to see a clear path.
To experience a change, you MUST be able to see that new path CLEARER than the path you’ve been on all these years.
