How do you know if it’s time for a “Business ReDesign?”

It happens to all of us:

The day will come (maybe it already has?) when, as Marshall Goldsmith wrote, “what got you here won’t get you there.”

The gears that ran smoothly start to grind and groan and grate as the old ways that served you so well start showing rust.

And there are two ways to respond:

1. Run harder.

2. A Business ReDesign.

I’ve tried both methods, so I can tell you with confidence that running harder is a form of fool’s gold.

It’s what we do when we don’t know what else to do: Anything that jumps at us.

But a “Business ReDesign” is the way of the master.

It’s the only method that keeps you sane. And it makes your future bright.

How do you know if it’s time for a Business ReDesign?

1. You’re comfortable, but restless. You’re doing OK. But you’ve got an ache. And it’s been with you long enough that you know the only way to fix it is to move up. But to what?

2. You’re making money, but the clients and projects are not at the level you want.

3. You’re going in circles. So many ideas. So many plans. And feeling so overwhelmed and distracted by it all.

In January I’ll be leading a small group through a “Business ReDesign.”

And if you hit reply and tell me what symptoms you have that indicate you might be in need of a Business ReDesign, I’ll send you something that will help you get started.

Looking forward,
Dov
