Last time I interviewed Shannon Hanson, (about ten months ago) I got emails from people saying he went too far.
He was irresponsible.
He made his family suffer in pursuit of his business dreams.
His message is incomplete and can lead some people to think that if it’s a struggle, you must be doing something right – even if your struggle might be because you’re doing it all wrong.
As you may recall, Shannon’s wife was about to leave with their daughter – because once again, he couldn’t pay the rent.
They were saved at the last minute by an unexpected check in their mail box.
His is a story of being saved by the bell again and again, as he pursued his dream of business building – and money, time and freedom.
It’s also a story of tremendous personal growth.
Of learning to work smart, rather than hard.
Of doing it his way, and coming out ahead. For his family, too.
Is it possible to misunderstand? Of course.
But simply because a minority will take your advice too far – should you deprive the majority who will use your guidance to attain their own money, time and freedom?
Obviously, I don’t think so.
And that’s why today I’m hosting a live conversation with Shannon Hansen in which he’s going to share three of the most important lesson’s he’s learned.

Lessons that ultimately enabled him to go from broke and in debt to $20,000 a month, then $80,000 a month. And now to where his company is the second largest provider of leads for the refinance industry in the United States.
Shannon will be talking about one of the most valuable lessons he’s learned: How to grow you business faster than you’d logically think is possible.

PS – Here is an excerpt from an email conversation Shannon and I had last year after my first interview.
“Shannon, some people complained to me that what was missing from what you talked about is recognition that there is a time to quit. When should someone quit?”
“When to quit?
“That’s an interesting question I don’t think I ever considered.
“This may sound harsh, but I think the only reason someone quits is because they haven’t decided to succeed.
“The most responsible thing a person can do is DECIDE what they want out of life and never give up in achieving it.
“The secret is that there is ALWAYS a way. You will ALWAYS be taken care of so long as you stay on the path to your dreams. There is a cosmic order I cannot explain, nor do I seek to, that says to give enough to those who refuse to quit in the face of adversity following their dreams. Give them a lucky break here and there to give them just enough to take the next step…and see if they will take it.”
